Civil Engineering Designs for Kent County Cricket Club
BSF Consulting Engineers have been involved in various projects with Kent County Cricket Club (KCCC).
For the redevelopment of the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury, BSF provided civil engineering designs for new highways and drainage serving the cricket ground and associated housing development.
Highways design
Our work included:
- Adoptable highways to Section 38 Standards following consultations and approval from Kent Highways that would serve the new housing developments.
- Private highways, constructed to adoptable standards, that would serve the cricket ground with additional parking incorporated into the design.
Drainage design
BSF also designed adoptable drainage to Section 104 standards. Following consultation with and approval by Southern Water Services, the drainage was designed to serve both the new housing development and the cricket ground.
